No. All face and gaze detection runs entirely in your browser using TensorFlow.js. No video frames leave your device. Ever.
Does screen sharing mean clckd can see my passwords?
clckd uses OCR to read page text, not screenshot storage. Text is processed locally to classify what you're looking at — nothing is uploaded. Sensitive fields (password inputs) are typically not readable by OCR anyway.
What if I need a bathroom break?
Pause the session at any time. The timer stops and your score freezes. Resume when you're back.
Can I use clckd without a webcam or without screen sharing?
Yes — both are optional. Tab-switch and window-focus detection always run. Skipping camera or screen share just gives the scoring system fewer signals, so your score may be less granular.
